a (very) sweet return

I know that I haven't been writing for a while. It's just that there are a couple of things that I'm tackling with at the same time, so I haven't been able to keep up as much as I'd like to.

There are so many things that I want to write about, but I'm very tired at the moment and can't find the right words to do so.
Instead, I'll share with you a wonderful piece of art that I made with a few of my friends during the weekend. But first, here's a photo of what it looks like:

Pretty, right?
I think so too.
And what's prettier is that all you need to do is buy a box of Ghirardelli Chocolate Fudge Brownie mix, 2 eggs, and vegetable oil; mix them together, and listen to a happy playlist while you're mixing like a boss.

Don't know what to listen to? I might be able to help you with that:
1. Sugar Sugar - The Archies
2. Sunday Morning - Maroon 5
3. Ain't No Mountain High Enough - Marvin Gaye (it also helps if you have a spatula in your hand to use as a microphone for this song)
4. Sir Duke - Stevie Wonder
5. Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Michael Bublé

tip: if you like your brownie a little runny, sort of like a lava cake, reduce the baking time.

tip2: eat it with ice-cream!

et voila!

I love to cook. And baking out of a box is not baking.
And this blog is not a food blog.
But from time to time, I will share stuff that I cooked recently, or food that I think you should try just because I think food is a great thing and we are so lucky to be able to eat it.

Especially when approximately 16,000, SIXTEEN THOUSAND kids are loosing their lives every day due to hunger related reasons. (Or 1 child every 5 seconds-so by the time you reach the end of this sentence, 2 children in the world will have lost their lives because they could not find something to eat.)

Look at: http://www.bread.org/hunger/global/ for more information regarding hunger related issues in the world today, and see how you might be able to help.

And more importantly, think about this entry the next time you call any item of food "disgusting", before you throw out your meal or order more than you can eat.

Have a great night and bon appetit!
