[moo-vee]

One thing that I've been doing a lot this summer is seeing movies. So far I've seen:
- Man of Steel
- Monsters University
- Lone Ranger
- This is the End
- World War Z
- Despicable Me 2

By seeing "This is the End", I lost 107 minutes of my life-of which approximately 7 were enjoyable- that I will never get back. "Man of Steel" was almost as bad in terms of storyline, but at least had something to offer in terms of audio and visual effects. And Henry Cavill.
"World War Z" was much better than I had expected it to be. Even though it's not a work of art or anything, it's definitely a good movie to see if you want to get a rush of adrenalin.
"Lone Ranger" was also pleasantly surprising, although I feel like Johnny Depp has been playing the same sort of smart-but-dumb-looking/acting-weird character type in different movies.

The last two remaining are both really good movies. It's a strange feeling because I'm no longer just a Disney fan, but now I also work for Disney (even if just for the summer). So I'm rooting for Monsters U to do better than Despicable Me. Objectively speaking, I still think that MonstersU has a better storyline, and more intricate artwork, but I have to admit that Despicable Me is much funnier. In fact, I don't think I've laughed out loud this much during a movie in a really long time, so seeing it put me in a really good mood.

Here's a short sneak peak (or recap if you've seen it already):

PS: I will go minion-shopping with you if you want to have your own after seeing the movie (or this clip, for that matter).
